OUR HISTORY:
The year was 1986. Andrew and his family were going on a fishing trip to Lake Taupo. John tagged along and tried waterskiing for the first time. He got up on his 2nd attempt and was hooked. Terry joined the scene about 1990 when they again attempted skiing on Lake Taupo. The tiny Plylight with its staggering 40HP power plant of death soon was tamed by the fabulous trio, who yearned for more grunt to scare them silly. This call was answered by John, who in 1993 bought a 1976 Glastron V176 with a 200HP Johnson 'scare your pants brown' outboard on it. Each year the TIDALforce members attend a compulsory week long skiing endeavour. The last few times have been at Okawa Bay in Rotorua, New Zealand. The waters here are crystal clear and very flat, even in hurricane winds. John really wants to buy a Mastercraft Prostar 205 but finances at the moment won't permit. Terry really wants to make his own lake but his flatmates backyard isn't quite big enough. Andrew wants to study poplar trees and finally have a long ride on his new waterski behind Johns Mastercraft on Terry's private lake (yeah right). TIDALforce stickers are available for a limited time - oops.. we bought them all.To be Shaun Murray - Terry To ski every day - John To be coached by fellow countryman Steve Cockeram - John To own our own sheltered private lake and live in houses on it's edge - All of us
